Senior Management

President

Marty MacKay is President of GEP Destination Management with offices in Atlanta, the Bahamas, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Savannah, South Florida, Utah, and Washington, DC.  Marty is responsible for implementing the strategic vision and logistical insight that ensures exceptional customer experiences and award winning service across each destination.  With her drive and event experience, Marty has become a recognized figure in the DMC industry and currently sits on the Board of Directors for ADME International, serves on the Global Events Partners Domestic Advisory Board, contributes to the Destination DC Membership Committee, and was awarded the DMCP accreditation. Marty joined GEP in 2001 bringing with her more than ten years of corporate meeting planning experience.

Richard McCombe comes to GEP with 23 years experience in the Bahamian Hospitality Industry. His experiences have included management of and ownership in numerous excursion businesses in the Bahamas including Blue Lagoon Island, Sting Ray City, and Divers Haven. Additionally Richard started the first full service Bahamian owned Destination Management Company (Paragon Bahamas td.) which gave him a great springboard to help launch GEP Bahamas. Richard is also very involved in the community and numerous service organizations such as the Rotary Club of South East Nassau and the Nassau Tourism & Development Board. His great relationships in the Bahamas help guarantee that GEP Bahamas can provide our client’s with the very best in destination management.


Sales

Account Executive

Marlene Jacoby, Account Executive, comes to GEP with over 20 years of experience and a diverse background in the hospitality industry giving her great insight to the needs of the meeting planner.   She has held various roles within the industry which include meeting planning for a major South Florida corporation, director of sales for an international and local destination management company and most recently as national sales manager for the Atlantis Resort located on Paradise Island, Bahamas.  Through her knowledge, passion and commitment to the industry, Marlene is always seeking creative ways to achieve high quality programs and meetings for her clients.

Account Executive

Tina Stiens began her career 6 years ago in event planning and destination management in the Chicago market. She designed and executed events for Hyatt Corporation, New York Life and McDonald’s Corporation among others. With her extensive background in event design, production and logistics, Tina is committed to creating innovative, quality solutions that exceed client expectations and is an invaluable asset to the GEP team.
