Nearly a decade after hosting the Winter Olympic Games, a new development is coming to the heart of Salt Lake City. The City Creek Center is the retail piece in one of the nation’s largest mixed-use downtown redevelopment projects. City Creek Center is a unique shopping experience featuring a retractable glass roof, a bubbling creek that runs through the property (shown above), and pedestrian sky bridge (shown below).
The space officially opens next Wednesday, March 22, 2012, but the praise for revitalizing the area is already pouring in. This destination offers world-class fashion and dining with over 90 stores and restaurants including Nordstrom, Macy’s, Tiffany & Co., Michael Kors, and Coach, in a casual, pedestrian-friendly environment with in blocks of the Convention Center. It will offer convention attendees a world of new opportunities during their free time.
